Club House Dress Code Proper attire, as established from time to time by the Board of Directors, shall be required on Club premises at all times. Members are responsible for the attire of their guests and therefore need to advise them of the club’s dress code prior to their visit. Appropriate action will be taken with members who fail to comply with the dress code policy. Following is a description of acceptable attire for each area of Beach Grove Golf & Country Club Denim The Board of Directors has approved the following policy effective immediately. Denim is allowed in the Terrace, Rose & Crown Dining Room, Rose & Crown Bar, Marine Room and Great Hall ONLY when accompanied by a blazer/sports jacket. - Children 18 years of age and younger are not required to wear a blazer/sports jacket. - Jeans must be in good repair, no rips, tears, frayed ends or holes and must fit appropriately (no excessively baggy denim). - Denim shorts and skirts must be of a respectable length. - Denim is acceptable without a jacket in all other areas of the club. Access should be gained to these areas where Jackets are not required through adjacent entry points whenever possible. If there is a need to gain access through the Rose & Crown Dining room, Rose & Crown bar, Terrace, Marine Room and Great Hall, persons are asked to pass through without lingering in these areas. The Board may grant clothing privileges in any area based upon the event. Members are responsible for their guests and should ensure their guests are informed of the policy to avoid unnecessary embarrassment. Please be aware that this affects only the Clubhouse Dress Code. The Golf Course Dress Code remains as it was. General Attire Golf attire or smart business casual is appropriate attire throughout the clubhouse. Abbreviated attire, sweat wear, jogging suits, swimsuits and cut-offs are not permitted in the clubhouse. It is expected that hats, caps or visors be removed when entering any dining or lounge area. Certain Club events may require a jacket & tie for gentlemen. Such requirement would be publicized in the In Touch or on invitation cards; when uncertain, members are encouraged to contact Clubhouse Management to confirm the dress code. Deck Attire Clubhouse attire is preferable. Members & guests from the pool area must wear appropriate bathing suit cover-ups as well as shoes in order to receive service. Swimming Attire Members & guests wishing to change clothing before & after swimming must use the bathhouse at the pool. Clubhouse locker rooms or washrooms are NOT to be used for that purpose. Curling Attire Proper curling attire is required on the ice at all times. Denim, jogging suits, any type of shorts (with the exception of ladies curling shorts worn with tights) are not considered proper curling attire. When in the curling lounge the clubhouse dress code is in effect. Cell Phone Usage Use of cellular phones in any dining area of the clubhouse is prohibited. This excludes the 19th hole & ladies’ lounge. Directions to the Club Beach Grove Golf & Country Club is located at 14134 Riverside Drive East in the Town of Tecumseh, near Windsor, Ontario. Our traditional Tudor Clubhouse is situated on Lake St. Clair, across the street from the Golf Shop and the Club's Stanley Thompson designed golf course.
